Energy Saving – Voltage Optimisation

Installed Price = £420

How does it work?

A voltage optimisation unit works by reducing the mains voltage to a steady 220V, enabling significant savings to be made through the more efficient operation of many appliances, lighting, and central heating loads, as well as enabling higher percentage of resistive heating loads to be powered from your solar PV output.

How do you save money?

When you optimise the voltage to your property you immediately benefit from energy saving because you are reducing WASTE in the form of heat and vibration. Domestic savings for a typical house could be between 5% and 13%.

and the environment...

By using less energy you will directly reduce the amount of carbon emissions you produce - your carbon footprint.

Can it be used with Solar PV installation?

The Voltage Optimisation unit is designed to complement a Solar PV Installation and will optimise the voltage to the house ensuring the appliances are not subjected to the higher voltages as a result. This reduces the total load drawn from the house and means more of what is being generated by the Solar  PV system can be exported!

Increased lifespan of equipment

Operating at a steady voltage of 220V will significantly increase the lifespan of a wide range of consumer appliances, lights and other electrical equipment.

The SOLiC 200 is an intelligent immersion heater controller that automatically converts energy generated by existing PV panels into hot water by diverting excess solar power to the immersion heater before it’s exported to the national grid.

Simple to use and maintenance free, the SOLiC 200 is self contained and will save you hundreds of pounds over the course of a year.

The SOLiC 200 is guaranteed for 10 years, has been designed, constructed and fully tested in Britain to the highest CE standards.

The unit can be installed quickly and easily by a qualified electrician without the need for plumbing alterations.

LED Lighting – lighting the future

Reduce your home and office lighting bills by up to 90% using one of the most efficient forms of lighting available. LED lighting uses approximately 10% of electricity than that of a standard light bulb. Energy efficient LED lighting creates less carbon emissions, which helps our environment as well as saving you money.
